An interesting item that has recently come to light, and one that can be found in the Emphemera section, is a quotation for the printing of souvenir programmes for the 1936-37 season, Town's very first as a professional outfit. Together with the quote are initial designs for the front cover, a hand drawn provided by the club and a provisional effort from the printers, neither of which, incidentally, made the final cut. Available on match days for two old pence, Messrs. Balding and Mansell of Wisbech quoted a price of £11 per 1,000 for the 24 page programme. More
