No apologies for yet another picture of the River Orwell Bridge and another view down the Orwell towards Felixstowe. The cattle in the latter are part of a herd of Red Poll cows a breed native to the county. Commercialisation meant that the Red Poll fell out of favour in the 1970′s and almost became extinct. However the breed has recently been revived by a number of local farmers, including the Suffolk Food Hall, whose outlet is just a few hundred yards out of picture to the right.
