Ipswich Kits: 1960's to the current day


1981/82

Complete with "UEFA Cup Winners 1981" embroidered under the club badge, the design would be worn for the next two seasons.

Club Sponsor: Pioneer (although their logo did not appear on the shirt for games televised by BBC or ITV). The three year deal with the Japanese Hi-Fi giant was worth £400,000.

1983/84

Almost identical to that worn the previous two seasons but with the "UEFA Cup Winners 1981" embroidery removed.

1984/85

Club Sponsor: Pioneer.

Sponsorship deal extended through to the end of the season for an additional £100,000 with performance bonuses.

1985/86

Identical to that worn the previous season but with Radio Orwell, the new club sponsor, emblazoned across the shirt

Club Sponsor: Radio Orwell become official club sponsor after conclusion of four deal with Pioneer.
