Saltfleetby All Saints

Under the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, the beautifully preserved All Saints Church, Saltfleetby boasts many features including this font which comprises a 13th-century octagonal bowl carried on 14th-century shafts, standing on a 15th-century richly carved octagonal base.

Donna Nook Seal Colony

Despite being an active RAF bombing range wildlife at Donna Nook thrives particularly the colony of Grey Seals that numbers upward of 3,500 bulls, cows and pups during the breading season.

Cleethorpes Pier

Cleethorpes became a popular seaside resort (technically speaking it’s on the river Humber) following the linking of the town by rail to the industrial towns of Yorkshire. The pier opened in 1873.

Hedingham Castle

A Norman motte and bailey castle built by the de Vere family in the late 11th to early 12th century. The stone keep was added in the 1130′s and 1140′s.
