Mr whelan was my teacher at the dingle school in haslington,he was always very kind and fare and helped me through some scarey times.my mum speaks of him with the highest regards and always says what a lovely kind person he is and that he would make an excellent headmaster x

phil is my teacher, now at the dingle primary school he has moved from elworth he is the deputy head and needs crutches sometimes due to the injury that caused him to retire :)

In 2004, my wife and I were hoping to move. We were interested in a detached house not far from where we live in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. It turned out to be where Phil and his family were living. They were planning to leave Essex and move up to Cheshire where Phil, now a qualified teacher, was taking up a new post. They moved - but we didn`t buy his house.
