Yes I know him, he`s my Dad! After Newmarket he was signed for Cambridge United (1955)and stayed for 3 years. (See 100 Greats Cambridge United FC by Brian Attmore & Graham Nurse). On leaving Cambridge in 1958 he joined Bexley Heath & Welling & then returned to Newmarket as player manager. Still lives in Newmarket Road Cambridge, just along from the Abbey Stadium.
