A Ross: Jackie, also known as Johnny Brown, started playing for Belfast Celtic in the 31/32 season. When he went to Wolves in December 1934, it was part of a joint transfer. Wolves paid £7,500 for Jackie Brown and Davy `Boy` Martin. Martin was a forward who was highly rated. Martin was valued at £5,700 and Brown £1,800. (2008-10-24)
