George Perrett was my uncle who died before I was born. He was my father`s older brother. Although I didn`t know him, I do have a number of family photographs which include him, although none of them show him in his football gear. If you are interested in seeing these, please let me know. Also, I am a professional harpist who plays for special events. Could you let me know who I should contact please, with regard to the possibility of playing at special events at the club? Thank you! Played in Town's first ever Football League game on August 27th, 1938 at Portman Road, when Southend United were the visitors. After his retirement from the game ran the E.U.R. Pub in Croft Street, Ipswich, before his death at the age of just 37 following an operation.
