Our comments

Nouma was sacked by Turkish side Besiktas following a bizarre goal celebration which involved him putting his hand down the front of his shorts. The incident also gained him a 7 month ban from Turkish football. (2004-08-05)

Your comments

Anorak (Ipswich): The former Town trialist is trying his luck as an actor and has recently played a role in the Turkish movie 'The Son of the Man Who Saved the World'.  (2007-07-21)

Black Eagle (Besiktas JK): we don`t miss him... because `Pascal Spirit` is always in BJK Inonu Stadium! that spirit was in our stadium even before Pascal came, and it will stay there forever. The only difference is that; after he came to Besiktas, that spirit found its name as: Pascal Spirit!! Some jealous racist fools even called him `negro`, but they forgot that for Pascal all the Besiktas fans are more colored than Pascal. I wish he comes to Turkey at least for holidays and watches BJK matches with us from his stadium... note: the thing that he was holding in his shorts is still deep inside of all Fenerbahce supporters! :)  (2005-06-24)

Volly (Besiktas JK 1903): The best foreign football player ever played in turkish league!! Very aggresive when needed, cool and calm when told to. First foreign player who was really loved by besiktas fans. Many have come to besiktas, many were send away or rejected by fans but not Nouma. Fans dedicated songs to him which go like this: Fransada dogdu, besiktasli oldu, helal olsun sanaaa, Pascal Noumaaaa, ooooooo. Translated it means something like this: Born in France, became a besiktasian, everything is worthy for you Pascal Nouma, ooooooo. Fans also made banners showed on every home match saying: Pascal bizi diskoya götür. Translated it means: Pascal take us to the disco. Which is an allution to Pascal´s colorfull nightlife before and after match days. Pascal wore Jersey number 21 and this number is still holy and won´t be given away anymore for other players. It´s a shame that this player had to leave besiktas because of the "hands into the pants" incident. Fans are still missing him very much but his spirit will always be on the pitch at Inönü stadium. (2005-03-19)
