A Ross: Johnson played a few games for Hucknall Town and also Dunkirk of the Central Midlands League after being forced to give up the pro game through injury (2010-07-15)

Tim Hodge: Johnson joined Town from Bury for £800,000, in a player exchange that saw Chris Swailes going the other way for £200,000. (2009-06-29)
