Ipswich Town 1 Torquay United 1
Mick Stockwell spared Ipswich Town's blushes with a late equaliser against Torquay in the Coca-Cola Cup.
Stockwell tapped in from a yard out to earn the draw against a dogged Torquay.
The Gulls took a shock 46 seconds lead when Paul Gibbs' left footed curling corner was flicked home by Andy McFarlane.
Ipswich had a glorious chance to level things when James Scowcroft went over in the area with Paul Gibbs.
But on-loan Chelsea striker Mark Stein's spot kick was well read by 18-year-old keeper Mathew Gregg who saved and then collected at the second attempt.
Although Ipswich laid siege to Torquay's defence Gregg had little real danger to deal with.
But he saved well with a reflex stop to deny Matt Holland from a headed Mark Venus corner.
Torquay made the clearest of chances but Rodney Jack slid three good opportunities wide.
