The latest additions to the match programme archive come from a bound volume of 36 home programmes. From the 1924-25 season, and once the property of Dansie Grocers, Ipswich, these were recently acquired at auction by collector James Holland. The collection includes all but one match from the Southern Amateur League, a number of friendlies, and games played in the AFA, Amateur and Suffolk Senior Cups.
Overall the archive is now just eight shy of a complete set of home match programmes from 1936-37 onwards (the clubs professional era).

Tony Paris moved to Portman Road from Chelsea in the early 1970’s, lining up alongside the likes of Glenn Keeley, Brian Talbot and Kevin Beattie, for the Youth team and Reserves. He later joined West Ham, Brighton and Orient before moving to Rhodesia in 1975 where he played for Tornados for two seasons. He returned to Europe in 1977, becoming player-manager for KI in the Faroe Islands and then Faroe Islands National Team coach in 1978. He is now Executive Director at the Everton Florida Soccer Club in the USA (affiliated with Premiership Everton).

Anyone keeping a watchful eye on football related memorabilia listed on Ebay may have noticed the growing interest in the collection of team sheets. These are single A4 sheets listing match officials and team line-ups that are issued to the media, and executive box holders and the like, on first team match days. Thanks to Don White, David Bull and Daniel Hill we have our own burgeoning collection here at Pride of Anglia.
