Introduction
Reserve team football represents opportunities for players on a number of different levels. For the emerging youngster to demonstrate their talents, players on the periphery of the first team to stake a claim for a place back in the starting line-up, and for injured professionals to regain their fitness.
Down the years the Town reserves have competed in the Ipswich & District League (now the Suffolk & Ipswich League), the Football Combination, the FA Premier Reserve League and a number of regional cup competitions. Most recently in the Suffolk County FA Premier Cup (pictured), which they won in the 2006-07 season.
This new section of Pride of Anglia is very much a work in progress which we hope will build up over the coming months into a comprehensive record of the Town second eleven.
