did scouting work for Norwich manager Mike Walker between 1996 and
1998.

Chung
Assistant
Town manager during Bill McGarry's reign at Portman Road, Sammy
made 48 appearances, netting on 9 occasions, for the Canaries between
1955 and 1957.

Ian
Crook
Ian
Crook the Town player that "never was". At the end of the 1995/96
season, Norwich's financial difficulties led to cost-cutting exercises
and Crook was granted a free transfer. In June 1996, he signed for
Town but his contract and player registration forms were postdated
until the beginning of July. Mike Walker was re-appointed as Canaries
manager on the same day that Ian was paraded as an Ipswich signing.
Walker offered Crook a new contract which he duly signed. The dispute
went to a tribunal and although Crook was able to play for Norwich,
the club was fined for its actions.

Former Norwich coach Steve Foley became one of manager Jim Magilton's first appointments, joining the backroom staff in June 2006. Foley, who coaches at all levels from academy upwards, spent 10 years at Carrow Road.

Friar
made 86 appearances for Norwich between 1935 and 1939 before joining
Town, for whom he would never play a first team game, prior to the
outbreak of WWII. Scored a hat-trick for Norwich against Ipswich
in a Testimonial game for J Scott & B Robinson in April, 1937.

Gordon,
who scored 43 goals in 248 appearances for the Canaries between
1984 and 1991, joined Town in 2000 to help set-up the Lowestoft
Academy. A Town supporter during his school boy years.

Gudmundsson
Gudmundsson
has a trial with Norwich during the 1994-95 season and played for
their Reserves in a 1-1 draw with Ipswich. Norwich did not pursue
the signing of the then-Halmstad striker any further and he joined
Blackburn Rovers the following season. He returned to East Anglia
in a loan deal during the 1996-97 and made 7 appearances for Town,
'famously' scoring in the home play-off game with Sheffield United.

Hamilton
The
former Town midfielder, who made 199 appearances for the Blues between
1971 and 1975, was appointed Director of Football at Norwich in
June 1998 in a management partnership with Bruce Rioch. Resigned
in December 2000, following a run of 5 consecutive defeats, with
the Canaries in 20th place in Division One.

Danny Haynes
Danny Haynes, a member of the Charlton Athletic Academy at the time, pictured in Norwich kit during the Canary U-19's away match at Birmingham City on 13th March, 2004. On trial at Carrow Road, he played the last 35 minutes in a 2-0 defeat, joining the ITFC Academy shortly afterwards.

Current
Canaries goalkeeping coach. The one-time Ipswich reserve regular,
who also played for Chelmsford City, Diss Town and Ipswich Wanderers,
held a similar coaching role at Portman Road.

Made
8 appearances for the Canaries in 1947, scoring 4 goals including
a hat-trick in his second appearance, before joining Town in December
of that year. Left a month later for Newport County without making
a first team appearance.

A centre-forward, Maskell made seven appearances for City before the outbreak of WWII at the end of which he guested for Town in the transitional Divsion Three (South).

Town as trainer-coach during the 1968-69 season, a position he also
held at Luton Town and Aldershot, before moving onto to work for
the Detroit Express and Minnesota Strikers in the United States.
As a player he made in excess of 400 senior appearances, and 101
in the reserves, for Norwich playing in virtually every position.

Had
trials with Norwich as a Schoolboy but was turned down for being
too small. Milton, who later joined the Blues from Bury Town, is
currently Academy co-ordinator at Portman Road.

Mulryne
The
ex-Manchester United, Norwich City and Cardiff City midfielder played
for Town's second string against Colchester in August 2006. A former
Northern Ireland team mate of Jim Magilton had been training with
the Blue's following his departure from Cardiff City earlier in
the summer.

Mick O'Brien, Town's

An imposing defender during his playing days he played for a number
of league clubs including Norwich City.

Dundalk for seven years after a playing career that included spells
