The ArcelorMittal Orbit

At 155 metres high this is Britain’s largest piece of public art just a hundred metres or so from the Olympic Stadium. Whatever your interpretation – to me it looks like it belongs on the set of a Transformers movie – and whether you love it or loathe it you certainly can’t miss it, particularly at night when it throbs an ethereal red. A distinctive East End landmark.
